At Wellesley I challenged myself with courses and classwork that tested my skills. I opened my mind to new ideas and alternate perspectives. I developed lifelong friendships that have provided shape and support over the decades. All of these experiences have helped me in the workplace as I have taken on greater responsibilities and challenges over the years, managing complex projects and dozens of people. There has never been a moment when I thought I could not manage the demands of work and family, and I attribute this confidence to the Wellesley Effect. It has only grown stronger in the decades since graduation.
