Who would have believed that when Professor Lee Cuba joined the Wellesley faculty my junior year, the friendship we forged would last for more than 30 years. Professor Cuba inspired me through many courses, including a statistics course that I was less than enthusiastic about learning. In addition, we have a friendship that has provided me a window into the current Wellesley long after graduation as well as his role in my life as a trusted advisor who continues to guide my decisions far beyond my choices while at Wellesley. The Wellesley Effect is the rich learning that happens through professors in the classroom and far into one's life after Wellesley.
Professors who teach you for decades.
