After graduating from Wellesley, I entered graduate school in clinical psychology at the University of Southern California. On the first day of Abnormal Psych, the professor asked how we defined abnormality. A male student raised his hand and proceeded to discuss statistical abnormality, consensual abnormality, and clinical abnormality. My mouth fell open as I realized a man had given such an intelligent answer to that question.
