My experiences at Wellesley changed my life in ways I could not have imagined when I entered. Wellesley provided me a framework for a lifetime of fascinating and fulfilling involvements. The Wellesley values of hard work, excellence and integrity served me well during eight years as Chair of Wellesley's Board of Trustees, a short time as Acting President of the College, the first woman to serve as Chair of the Board of the Minnesota Orchestra and of the University of Minnesota Foundation, and as the first woman member of many corporate boards.
